  • Conveys the destruction brought by America's transcontinental railroads
  • Incorporates "Super Chief" logo of 1930s luxury train

Here, a horseback rider races to stay ahead of a transcontinental railroad and the development it will bring-McDonald's golden arches, smokestacks, and highways. Although an amazing technological feat for its time, the railroads brought profound cultural and environmental devastation to thousands of Native Americans, including loss of land and natural resources.
