Mariner's Astrolabe with a cast brass frame. Part of alidade one either side of the axial pin remains, as does the suspension ring shackle. Several digits of the graduation are visible, indicating a graduation on the upper half of the frame, on either side of 0 degrees at the top, a division of 90 degrees to 0 degrees to 90 degrees but the graduations are obliterated.
