Signed bottom right corner "C.F. Lovato" in pencil.
At left is an abstracted image of man with stick in left hand, and outstretched right palm; hand releasing butterflies at right; center has black geometric motifs on white white ceramic bowl, inside of which are two bird's heads. In the background at center is a black steplike design fading to the top. The man and hand appear to be emerging from the earth - in the mound of dirt between the man and hand (and under the bowl) has 3 vertical black lines, a wave-like form, a fish, a turtle, and a sperm-like form. In the earth under the man at left, appears to be a person inside a curved horn, in profile. There are black designs on this white form, that curves and ends in the form of a large foot. In the earth under the hand are black geometric and curvilinear designs on white. A decorative border of black on turquoise is at the bottom of this work. Edition 59/100.
