This is a pair of leather boots with stiff reinforced soles. The soles extend part way up the side of the foot. The top of the foot and the upper portion of the boots are made with a lighter skin than the sole. There is a light band of skin stitched to the top ede of the boot. There is a pull string in the band at the top of the boot. There are two leather strips that extend out of the sole .
