This is an unglazed brown pottery figure in the form of a human squatting with hands on chest. The stylized body is round and bulbous. The spine in the back is exaggerated. There is a round hole in the back of the figure's head. The catalog card remarks indicate this is an imitation (of a preColumbian vessel) made for sale for the tourist trade.
