This is the carved handle of a horn spoon, from the Northwest Coast Area, depicting a stylized human face on one side and stylized figures on the back. There is decorative mother of pearl inlay in the eyes and nostrils of the carved figures. The long, conical handle extends backward and is segmented with incised lines.
