On base, inscribed in black paint: "110330. Acoma. N.M. Stevenson. Bur. Ethnol."
This pottery pot has a round concave base and a bulbous, somewhat misshapen body. It has a short neck with a thin, flattened lip which is chipped. The base and the lower fifth is painted red. The entire surface of the pot is decorated with geometric designs in darker red-brown on a white background. The inside is painted white.
