This is a pair of painted wooden finger masks. There is a ring for one finger surmounted by a carved circle with a hole in the center. The circle is painted red on the outside with a white ring on the inside, followed by another ring of red which continues inside the center hole. Pegs and the remains of feathers/down are found around the outside edges.
