This is a model kayak made with a wooden frame covered over with skin. There is a single hole in the center with a wooden hoop rim. The slim raked ends of the kayak terminate with ivory knobs and a short ivory keel under each. There are five thong racks with bone stoppers for weapons and gear along the top of the kayak model. Possibly walrus hide.
