This is a model of a dugout canoe carved out of wood and painted black with a band of triangles around the top rim. There are patches of red decorations on the ends and inside the canoe. The outside is covered with a clear varnish. There are five thwarts inside the canoe. Two paddles are included with the object. The paddles are painted with totemic designs.
