This is a round basket woven in a chain weave of native grass. Some of the grass is dyed purple, green and orange, with aniline dyes and used to form decorative bands around the outside. The base is made of cedar bark and a chain weave. The basket has a high and narrow shoulder with a short neck formed with strips of cedar bark.
