This is a Katsina doll made of carved wood. The doll has a geometric, columnar shape and is completely decorated with paint in colors of blue, red, yellow, black and white. The doll's semicircular head is painted with geometric forms representing facial features. There is a topknot of feathers on the head. A loop of string attached at the back is used to hang up the doll.
