This is a katsina doll carved out of wood in a geometric, columnar shape and is completely decorated with paint in colors of blue, red, yellow, white, and brown. The doll's semicircular head is painted half brown and half blue. The blue side has black rectangles painted at the eye, cheek, and eyebrow. Half the the protruding wood nose is also painted blue. One semicircular red ear protrudes from the proper right side of the head. There are also brown feathers extending from the top of the head.There is a loop of string that comes out of the back in order to hang the doll.
