Inscribed, on back, in ink, "74775. Alaska. Swan."
This is a totem pole with four superimposed heads, one on top of the other, painted blue, red and black. The first three heads from the bottom have progressively longer noses. The nose of the third head is painted black. The top head is round with flaring nostrils. The top head and the head at the bottom, which also acts as the base, have tufts of dark brown hair.
