This is a snow knife, also cataloged as a story knife. The object is carved out of brownish gray ivory. The back is straight and the blade edge is curved. There are four round knobs on the front side of the handle. Black herring bone and diagonals on one side. There is a slight lateral curve to the blade. Further Remarks: Collected by E.W.
