This is a boat hook fluke carved from an antler. There is a short point cut off on bias with soft of keel beneath. Two holes are drilled in the keel for lashing the object to the boat. Point on each side an incised long arm with hand at each end. The object is carved to depict a seal. Further Remarks: Collected by E.W. Nelson in 1877.
