This is a spoon carved out of mountain goat horn for the handle and mountain sheep horn for the bowl. The end of the bowl extends into the handle and is secured with copper tacks.. The handle is carved with stylized figures. The base of the handle depicts a bird with a flattened beak pointing downward. The end of the handle depicts a stylized bird with an extremely long beak pointing upward. The handle itself points downward.
