This is a wood splint basket with a square base and a round, open top. There is a shelf half way up dividing the top and the bottom. On the shelf there are two small baskets secured to the rim of the larger basket. One of the small baskets is no longer secured to the side of the basket and currently rests at the bottom of the basket. The object has two handles. It is made with natural and light brown splints in a plain and porcupine weave with four double rows of purple splints woven on the inside. The small baskets are made with a similar weave in natural and pink dyed splints.
