This is a pipe carved out of argillite. The pipe depicts roughly three stylized figures, perhaps originally more, as a portion of the pipe has been broken off and is lost. The pipe bowl rests on the head of one of the figures and is held with the wings and the beak of a bird, possibly a raven.
