This is a ceramic jar with a small base, a bulbous body, and a built-up coil rim. The interior of the body is painted white and the interior of the neck is painted red. The base and the lower third of the exterior is painted dark red above which is a bird and floral design in shades of brown and black on a cream background. Below the bird and flower design is wide band of vertical and horizontal lines. Above this, at the base of the neck there is one circular band and one scalloped band.
