This is a ceramic pot with a round flat base and a bulbous body with a short, slightly flaring neck. The bottom, the rim and the interior of the neck are painted red. The exterior of the pot is ornamented beginning at the bottom with a band of seven chevron designs in black and brown. Above this there is a narrower band of five stylized birds in black and red. A single black line followed by a black scallop design facing upward circle the neck.
